Rough blueprints for David Xanatos's Castle Wyvern, from Gargoyles.

IE, I am a nerd.

The 'canon' locations are ones I can directly confirm from watchings the series. The 'deduced' locations are ones that I placed based on watching the series, research on how castles are designed, and guesswork. As you can see, not everything is labeled. If anyone has a suggestion for locations, let me know!

A note on Xanatos's office: The episode 'Kingdom' has a scene where a couple of the gargoyles crash through into the office from above. Between that and the design of the office, I deduced that it was actually beneath the castle proper. Owen's office is probably very close to Xanatos's, since he's second in command, more or less.

I'm not any kind of architect or engineer, just a gal with Photoshop and the Gargoyles DVDs ;)

hey thanks for posting this. im collecting reference material for building castle wyvern in a game called Minecraft and information like this is exceptionally limited and valuable. and since im trying to build it to scale i need all the details and help i can get XD. this has helped enormously. figured i i cant live/visit there irl id visit virtually XD.

Oh, I know just how rare it is to find anything good on Castle Wyvern! I would love to see the production artwork for it...

it might take me a few weeks (with my work schedule and all) to finish but when i finish my build in Minecraft i look forward to posting them (in large part thanks to your blueprints and the screenshots Ive dug up from other people) though with this being my first real attempt at this id be more than welcome to suggestions from knowledgeable people such as yourself.

so far Ive finished
the main gate (though Ive noticed some details i initially missed and am not sure if ill rework it or fix it in version 2 of the build)

1/4 of the outer wall, the outer keep, Court yard, mages tower, gargoyles tower. and am currently working on the library. though all the work im doing atm is rough architecture i plan on going back through and refining with better detail once the hard parts finished.

i will most definitely make sure you get to see them seeing as how your blueprints have been such a help. with any luck i could be done in a week or two. i got a rather sizable part finished over the weekend but only time will tell how much i can do to it during the work week XD.
