Super Secret Project: Avengerweasels Assemble!by ~SilverGryphon8

At last I can reveal the Super Secret Project- AVENGERWEASELS ASSEMBLE!

This set of nine stash weasels is all dressed up like our favorite superhero team with Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Phil Coulson, Nick Fury, Black Widow/Natasha Romanov, Iron Man/Tony Stark, Captain America/Steve Rogers, the Hulk/Bruce Banner, Loki, and Thor.

Each weasel took an average of six hours to create, from base wool to finished project. They are needlefelted from white and colored wool, with accents of iron-on glitter fiber and props made from pipe cleaners.

The simplest one to make was probably Hulk. Hands-down, the most complicated one was Loki, because he has not one but three layers of 'costume' including a very detailed little coat. The coat was made entirely separate from Lokiweasel, and would actually be removable if that funny shoulder-strap thing didn't pass through a slit in the coat.

The Avengersweasels were entered into the Kitsap County Fair and Stampede, where they took a blue ribbon (KCF&S gives blue/red/white ribbons based on each individual entrant's own creative merit), Best of Class, and a judge-granted Special Award.

I'll be posting individual shots here soon. I will also be taking commissions for people who want their own Avengerweasels, so stay tuned for details!
